This is really the best supper that $ can't buy. The durians were small and yummy and creamy and richy! I downed at least 10 seeds and even 'ta pao' home! Tks Jr for the Durians. And the Burmese tea was just lovely to wash all the durian down. But most of all, the company of my favourite Burmese Uncle Si Hai and
Auntie 'G'. It was just so nice to sit under the moonlight, enjoying the great fruit, lovely tea and the company of friends. Thank You Lord.

Dan Dan Apples?

Dan Dan Apples?

Was having dinner at Dunman food centre before heading to church. Was eating the really nice chicken rice. (This is the one from the Fei Fei wan tan mee coffeshop). Really nice and oily hehe. And also the famous soon kueh that i've blogged before.

Well, next to these two stalls is this Dan Dan Kitchen. I'm kinda surpised that it's still open after quite a number of months. I've never ordered from this stall before and neither have I seen anyone else order. Was just there and noticed these colour apples next to their menu. Maybe they are Mac Users? Or maybe they sell iPod minis or something? Anyone nice to see them apples, but it's the shop name that is hard to swallow lah, Dan Dan, which in chinese means 'plain plain'. Will try the Mee Goreng someday.

Dashboard Confessions... Toilet Confessions

Dashboard Confessions

Got inspired by Pierre's blog. He says he thinks a lot in his car. Well I don't have a car, so I started thinking about where I think. I realised I think quite a bit in the toilet.

I just came back from the toilet (oops is that too much information), and a thought came...

Life is like a lift, it's full of ups and downs. Sometimes we're going up, other times we're going down. And sometimes we don't go anywhere coz we forget to press the button!

Ahaha... ok, I don't think I'm very good at these confessionals kinda thing, so will just stick to makan blogging hehe. :P

I've been blessed!

Counting My Blessings :): Happy Birthday, sister!

Wow, first mention of my blog on another blog. =) Thanks EuniceBenKevin!

The food was not bad. It's not a new nor bad idea to gather all the good food together, but it does take the joy of finding a really good food stall in some ulu place doesn it?

Wonder what these guys were eating... :P

Media Lunch Media

Today's lunch was quite interesting... which is quite rare coz pple say Geylang got a lot of food to eat, but after 4 years, there's just so many (or rather so few) hangouts within walking distance. So headed down to Junction today with my colleagues from Media min and we met our old media neighbours from RBC! (The friendly folks in the background) So here's a big shout to Alex, Joshua and Janet! Their office in the building is like the most happenning and creative place in the EH... and one of the reason is that it's all filled with Macs! Yea!

It was just funny meeting them at lunch coz they've been telling me of all the good lunch places near the super nice new office... and then we bumped into them @ Junction. Well, they said they missed the food... for us, we just miss having them around.

The 80's Club

Counting My Blessings :): (This plate contains) 449 kcal....

No this is not a club for those born or love the 80's. Haha, Pierre, maybe I'll join you some day!

Thanks Eunice for all your recent food blogs! Haha.

p.s. need a pic for this post...pierre? :P

And you can take it from us, coz like he's probably the guy I eat the most amount of rice with. :P (His culture...) Going over to Che's place tmr nite, hm... his place always got Yakult. Lactobacillus casei Shirota!!!

What is that you ask?

Yakult is a fermented milk drink that contains a very high concentration of a unique, beneficial bacterium called Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain. This bacteria was named after Dr Shirota and is exclusive to Yakult. It is pronounced as follows: Lack-toe-bass-ill-us case-e-i Shirota strain.

2 Page Comic Special: Lunch @ IKEA!

Here's a big shout out to Irwin! Was having dinner at his place and was so presently suprised when he, think about 10 years old...may 11, was asking me the address of my blog as he was trying to tell another friend of ours what to eat! That is like so cool lah! So here's to you Irwin, if you're reading this, do enjoy the comic that's on my website. :)
